Drilling and Milling
The glass sheets are drilled using digitally controlled drills. The diamond bits, suitably lubricated, produce cylindrical and flared holes for any project requirement. Cylindrical holes maintain the same diameter throughout the length of the hole while flared holes have different diameters at different points.
Milling enables notches, large holes and cut-outs featuring ground inside edges to be created. Notches are used to install hardware on "all-glass" doors; large holes and cut-outs on the other hand are used to install sinks and electrical appliances where panels are used as tops for bathrooms and kitchens. Vetrerie Dal Pian, depending on the complexity of the milling required, uses millers or waterjet cutting.
